Protein Balls

I discovered these "Protein Balls", as I call them, on Pinterest in my quest for clean eating snacks. These are now my go to snack of choice or breakfast on busy mornings.




No-Bake Energy Bites 

(makes 18-20 bites)

1 cup oatmeal

1/2 cup peanut butter (or other nut butter)

1/3 cup honey

1 cup coconut flakes

1/2 cup ground flaxseed

1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

1 tsp vanilla

Mix everything above in a medium bowl until thoroughly incorporated. Let chill in the refrigerator for half an hour. Once chilled, roll into balls. Store in an airtight container and keep refrigerated for up to 1 week.

I keep mine in the freezer for a couple of weeks.

I mix it up each time......never the same balls twice ;)

Try dried cranberries, chopped nuts, chia seeds, dark chocolate, protein powder.........you get the idea! The website below has more ideas and explains it well.

How risky will you go this seasons with colour combinations. If you have being following the fashion trends this year you will see lots of colour mixing and colour blocking. I have always been partial to black........neutrals were my go to but even I have embraced the colours of the season and I'm LOVIN it. Once you try it you will be addicted to the mood enhancer that colour can add to your style. I have always loved Pink and Red but I am really enjoying Pink and Orange now too........ as you can see from my new watch colour combination.

I Love both together! Such feel good fresh colours.

I bought my first pair of Havaianas about 6 years ago in Montreal. Fell in LOVE with them right away and have owned many pairs since. You can not find another flip flop more comfortable.

Colours of Spring Flowers

Today is my first blog post. I am new to blogging, actually just got to know about blogging from following other bloggers that I was introduced to through Pinterest! Please be patient with me as I get familiar and work the kinks out.


This spring Colour is the new trend..........colour colour colour. I am loving it. For the home it is a nice time to get rid of the winter blankets, pillows, dark colours etc. Change them up with warm fresh tones and summer colour. Oranges, blues, greens (my new obsession this year), yellows, pinks.


It’s also a great time to inject a vase of fresh flowers for their smell and colour, nothing says spring like it :)
